Orthopedics & Trauma Surgeon
Prof. Marcin Domżalski graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Łódź in 1997. He completed a scholarship at the Vojta
Orthopedic Clinic in Heidelberg in 1998, followed by doctoral studies at the Medical University of Łódź (1998–2002), earning his PhD with honors in 2002.
He expanded his research expertise as an OASI Milano scholar (2002) and as a Research Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University’s A.I. duPont Hospital for Children
in Wilmington, DE (2004–2005). In 2006, he became a board-certified specialist inorthopedics and trauma.
Since February 2015, he has served as Head of the Clinic of Orthopedics at the University Clinical Hospital of the Medical University of Łódź
(former: Veterans Memorial Hospital).

- Member of the State Examination Commission in Orthopedics and Traumatology (since 2015)

Biomedical Engineering
Emila Steinmetz, earned her Engineering degree from the Technical University of Łódź in 2022 and was honored with the Curran-Werner Award as the university’s top graduate.She completed her Master’s in Materials Engineering, receiving both the Excellence Initiative scholarship and a university-funded scholarship.
Currently a doctoral candidate at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School of the Technical University of Łódź (Materials Engineering), she leads a Ministry of
Education and Science-funded “Perły Nauki” project. Emila has completed advanced training in ANSYS finite element analysis, building energy management systems,
obtained electrical qualifications and AML compliance training.
Research and innovation highlights:
- Co-author of patent application P.440978: “Method for Producing Carbon Quantum Dots”
- First author of peer-reviewed publications, including work on 3D-printed hand
prostheses (“Surface Structure Modification in Fused Filament Fabrication

Orthopedics & Trauma Surgeon
Radosław Grabowski is an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports trauma, arthroscopic surgery, and joint preservation. With international fellowship training across leading centers in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East, he has developed expertise in ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, orthobiology, and advanced minimally invasive procedures. He combines extensive clinical practice with active teaching and research, contributing to international medical societies and sports medicine programs worldwide.
His advanced training includes arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, meniscus transplantation and biological cartilage repair at:
